2008 Calgary Showcase of Queensland Writing Kate Eltham, CEO of Queensland Writers Centre, presented the Queensland Writers Showcase at World Fantasy Convention in Calgary in October. Eltham presented a range of fantasy and science fiction titles for adults and young readers to publishers and literary agents.

2008 Taipei Showcase of Queensland Writing Bestselling author Nick Earls headlined the Queensland Writers Showcase at the Taipei International Book Expo in February. Earls presented a range of fiction and non-fiction titles focusing on Australian themes.

2007 New York Showcase of Queensland Writing On 14 June 2007 young adult fiction author and academic, Dr Karen Brooks presented another vibrant showcase of Queensland talent to the US market. This year's titles featured the best of young adult fiction.

2006 LA Showcase of Queensland Writing Author Rebecca Sparrow presented the 2006 Showcase on September 28 2006 at the Directors Guild of America on Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles. All the books featured in the showcase are available for licensing for film and television.

2005 NY Showcase of Queensland Writing Rebecca Sparrow, author of The Girl Most Likely, hosted a presentation of 14 young adult titles by Queensland authors. The showcase was attended by US publishers and literary agents.
